Starpharma is a manufacturer of dendrimers for use in pharmaceutical applications. I have been a part of several commercial projects with Starpharma towards the development of novel prostate cancer treatments. Due to the contract nature of these projects, no more information other than the titles (see Outputs tab) of the projects and those involved can be disclosed.

Contracts were negotiated between Starpharma Holdings Pty Ltd. and the Centre for Advanced Imaging at the University of Queensland. I was involved with the radiolabelling, purification of the radiolabelled compounds, imaging, animal handling, and treatment monitoring. All people involved in this project (other than myself) and their roles are listed below (Affiliations denoted in superscripts).

  • Kristofer J. Thurecht1,2,3,4 – Project design and management
  • Nicholas L. Fletcher1,2,3 – Radiolabelling and purification.
  • Anna Gemmel1,2,3 – Animal monitoring and measurements
